Dolomite offers a suite of standard microfluidic products to help you evaluate your microfluidic concepts quickly and accelerate your time to market. This Suite has been designed to provide both a convenient starting point for those new to microfluidics, as well as, a range of useful tools for the more experienced.

Microfluidic Connectors

Connecting microfluidic devices to macro-scale systems presents many challenges. If these are not addressed well, the benefits of working within the microfluidic regime may be compromised. To help ensure success, Dolomite provides several novel interconnects designed for ease of use, allowing fast and reliable connection to be made to microfluidic chips.

Edge Connector 4-Way

A four-port in-line connector that provides easy and reliable fluidic connection with minimal dead volume.

Microreactor Chip Connector

A robust, chemically resistant connector with 4 fluid ports that can be interfaced with a temperature controllable module.

This versatile connector, providing up to 8 fluid ports, can be used with chips of any footprint (> 15mm x 15mm) and thickness (>2mm).

Microfluidic Chips

Dolomite's off-the-shelf microfluidic chips provide channel networks with geometries of interest to a wide variety of markets including; environmental testing, drug discovery, forensic science and clinical diagnostics.

Fabricated in glass or fused silica, these chips are particularly suitable for applications where reusability, chemical compatibility, optical transparency and thermal characteristics are important. For applications requiring hydrophobic fluidic channels, surface modified versions of the chips can be provided.

To facilitate integration with external fluidic networks, these chips can be used with one of Dolomite's standard interconnects. If these off-the-shelf chips are not suitable for your application, then let us know and we can discuss the route forward to meet your needs.

T-junction Chip

A versatile chip, designed for a range of applications, including mixing fluids, microreactions and droplet formation. Supplied with a header allowing use with Dolomite's revolutionary edge connector.

Microreactor Chip

Reactor chips with volumes of 62.5, 250, or 1000µl and 2 or 3 fluidic inputs are available. Can be used with Dolomite's microreactor chip connector.

Micromixer Chip

Microfluidic Membrane Devices

Dolomite provides microfluidic devices with integrated membranes for controlling pressure and separating immiscible fluid streams. These integrated devices can be tailored to meet your requirements, just let us know the specifications you require and we can discuss how to work with you to meet your needs.

Valve Chip Holder

A microfluidic device with an integrated diaphragm that can be used to control the backpressure within a fluidic system or as an active valve.

Membrane Chip Holder

A versitile microfluidic membrane device for liquid-liquid separation or contacting, cross-flow filtration and surface chemistry reactions.

Pumps

Dolomite provides user-friendly pumps, designed specifically to manipulate fluids within a microfluidic system.

Flexible Syringe Pump

Two-channel syringe pump providing less than 10 µl/min to 5 ml/min flow rates and a maximum pressure of 6 bar. User-friendly jog-wheel control.

Microfluidic Diaphragm Pump (coming soon)

Continuous Flow Pump

Providing a flow rate of 10µl/min to 10ml/min
and a maximum pressure of 50bar

Temperature Control Module

Modules are provided that interface with Dolomite's connectors to provide temperature control of the microfluidic devices. To facilitate temperature control, chips with thin bottom layers may be necessary and when rapid temperature fluctuation is required with in-channel temperature gradients, additional heating elements within the chip can be provided.

Reactor Chip Connector - Temperature Control Module

Provides heating or cooling for up to 4 chips
each in a Dolomite microreactor chip connector.
