With our in-depth understanding of chemistry and the life sciences, our expertise in microfabrication and microfluidics, together with extensive instrument design and development capabilities, Dolomite is well positioned to help you reach your goals. Whether it's a one off microfluidic device, a sub-system or a complete instrument, we'll be pleased to discuss your requirements.
At Dolomite, devices can be fabricated from a drawing or mask design. We can offer prototype turnaround in 2-4 weeks. We can provide :

 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
- Fabrication in glass or quartz
- Thin glass layers for confocal microscopy (100micron)
- Thick glass layers for robustness (30mm)
- Multiple glass layers for higher throughput
- Glass / polymer / glass chips
- Bonding of ceramic components
We can also provide additional services such as inspection and fluidic testing and the development of fluidic interconnectors.
From concept to completion, we have all the expertise and experience you'll need to help you get your next idea off of the drawing board and into the marketplace.

Activities at Dolomite are structured into projects that are managed with our proprietary Fan Guard system. This system ensures accurate tracking of milestones and project performance. Project progress is reported internally on a weekly basis allowing problems to be flagged and resolved as early as possible.

Connecting microfluidic devices to macro-scale systems presents many challenges. If these are not addressed well, the benefits of working within the microfluidic regime may be compromised. To help ensure success, we can provide fluidic interconnects with:
- Quick connection and release
- High pressure capability
- Excellent chemical and heat resistance
- Low internal volume
- Chip-to-chip connections
We also have experience of integrating supporting modules:
- Displacement and electro-osmotic flow pump modules
- Chip thermal control module
- Chip pressure control module
- Automated feed and collection modules
- Fluid reservoirs with inert or pressurised atmosphere
